That’s my front wheel of the HNF Adventure with a Magura MT4 disk brake. Looks nice but after dumping the bike into a river (together with the rider, myself) it squeals.
Remove the wheel and, by the way, check the tension of your spokes. Then unscrew the screw holding the brake pads (T25).

Beside the screw the pads are held in place by magnetic force. It is very easy to pull the pads out.
There is enough flesh on the pads but also a layer of dirt from my bath in the river. I will clean that.

Use a fine abrasive paper and clean the pads. Just a few strokes will do. I also cut the edges of the pad (45°).
I spray the pads with SwissStop Silencer. A spray to silence brakes. Works without it most of the time – but who knows…

Now I clean the disk rotor with pure alcohol. Sometimes you will have to use a sanding block on the rotor too – but this is not what we do here: a fast maintenance that will help in 95%.
Put the pads back in the brake. Fix the screw (2.5NM) and put the wheel back in. Check if the wheel rotates free and check the brake. If everything seems to work fine, go out and do a test drive – take care!
